MAGDY Theoretical Elongation is a specialized engineering software developed to calculate and verify the theoretical elongation of prestressing tendons used in prestressed concrete structures.

The software provides bridge and structural engineers with a fast, organized, and reliable workflow for evaluating tendon elongation based on the defined cable geometry, prestressing parameters, and friction characteristics.

Key Features:

• Calculation of theoretical tendon elongation
• Supports prestressing tendon analysis
• Considers tendon geometry and cable profile
• Considers friction and wobble effects
• Calculates prestressing force variation along the tendon
• Clear presentation of calculation results
• Fast and efficient engineering workflow
• Reduces repetitive manual calculations
• Useful for design, construction, and site verification
• Designed specifically for bridge and structural engineers

Typical Applications:

• Prestressed concrete bridges
• Post-tensioned box girders
• Prestressed concrete beams
• Tendon stressing calculations
• Comparison between theoretical and site-measured elongation
• Engineering verification and documentation

Software Benefits:

MAGDY Theoretical Elongation helps engineers perform tendon elongation calculations efficiently while maintaining a clear and consistent calculation procedure. It can be used during both the design and construction stages to assist in checking prestressing operations and evaluating theoretical elongation values.
